Daniel 7:18

But the saints of the Most High will receive the kingdom and will possess it forever — yes, for ever and ever.—Daniel 7:18

Thoughts on Today’s Verse…

Forever! The Kingdom will belong to God’s saints, his children, the people of the Most High (see Daniel 7:27), us! And it will be ours, forever… and ever… and ever. Praise God for his promises, his grace, and his faithfulness.

My Prayer…

Almighty God Most High, I look forward to the day that your Kingdom rules in power and your will is done on this earth as it is in heaven. I thank you for your promises to us, your people, and I thank you for giving your children a Kingdom that cannot be shaken. Bless me, O God, as I seek to live my life each day in reverence and awe at your awesome holiness and grace. In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.

  1. Hallelujah! This is what the Lord gain for us with His sacrifice at the cross, death and resurrection, that everything that with the sin of Adam and Eve the whole humanity had been lost.
But thanks God, our Father, who sent His Son Jesus to this earth, to live and die and pay the penalty for our sins, and take back everything that was lost. There is one day, established by our Heavenly Father, that we are going to receive it back, and this time nothing is going to take it or steal from us.
We are going to receive back the kingdom, and we are going to reign with the One who paid the price for our redemption, our Lord, Savior and King Jesus. When l say we, l am talking of all person who believes that Jesus is the Son of God, and accepted His sacrifice at the cross for salvation of the eternal condemnation and the forgiveness of our sins.
The Word of God tell us how Jesus spoke to chief priests and the elders with parables about who is going to be the person who will enter the Kingdom and who will not, with the Parable of the Wedding Banquet (Matthew 22), in a few words this is what happened: “Jesus spoke to them again in parables, saying: 2 “The kingdom of heaven is like a king who prepared a wedding banquet for his son. 3 He sent his servants to those who had been invited to the banquet to tell them to come, but they refused to come.” (22:1-2) And sent more servants and invite all to come to the prepared dinner, but they paid not attention and went off. Later he said again: 8 “Then he said to his servants, ‘The wedding banquet is ready, but those I invited did not deserve to come. 9 So go to the street corners and invite to the banquet anyone you find.” (vrs. 8-9) And the servants went and gathered all people who could find. And see what happened there:
“11 “But when the king came in to see the guests, he noticed a man there who was not wearing wedding clothes. 12 He asked, ‘How did you get in here without wedding clothes, friend?’ The man was speechless. 13 “Then the king told the attendants, ‘Tie him hand and foot, and throw him outside, into the darkness, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.’ 14 “For many are invited, but few are chosen.” (vrs.11-14)
When the apostle John saw the visions of the last days, wrote the Letters that Jesus sent to the churches at that time when he had the vision, and in Chapter 3 Of the book of Revelation, says this: “5 The one who is victorious will, like them, be dressed in white. I will never blot out the name of that person from the book of life, but will acknowledge that name before my Father and his angels. 6 Whoever has ears, let them hear what the Spirit says to the churches.” (Rev 3:5-6)
Are all of us dressed in white? Are our names written in the Book of Life? If no there is way: Jesus is the way, confessing Jesus as Lord and Savior and repentance from all our sins and accepting his sacrifice for our salvation, then our name will be written in the Book of Life, and we are going to be with Jesus in heaven, in His kingdom forever and ever, and we are going to reign with Him. Hallelujah! Praise the Lord! Thank you Jesus!

Please come to Jesus, open your heart to Him and give Him your life today!

Father thank you for all that you have done for us, thank you for Your Son Jesus that gave his life for our salvation, thank you for the Holy Spirit who led us to Jesus to receive the salvation, thank you for our names are written in the Book of Life, thank you for what you have prepared for us in your kingdom, thank you Lord Jesus for it is only for you that we are going to receive your Kingdom as an inheritance. We are going to reign with you forever and ever. Thank You Jesus! Please help us to go and bring the lost, the unbelievers to believe and receive what you have prepared for us. Father in the name of Jesus l pray, all glory, honor and praise to you alone. Amen
