Romans 10:9-10

The Heart Believes and is Justified The Mouth Confesses and is Saved—Romans 10:9-10

“That if you confess with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved” (Romans 10:9-10)

Salvation is as easy as this. “Confess with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.” What a marvelous thing! So simple, yet so profound. Jesus has done everything for us. Not one thing was left undone by Him, there is nothing left to do except to celebrate this new life offered through the Son of God. It is as simple as that!
