The secret to a fruitful life!

SEED FOR LIFE:

Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can you, except you abide in Me. – John 15:4

What does it mean to remain a fruit bearing branch of the vine?
the vine draws nourishment from the root and pumps that nourishment into the. branches so they can bear fruit. This means that the spiritual life is not our work; and. the fruit we bear is not ours either. It’s God’s work in us.

This union with Christ, once formed, must be maintained… This is no casual touch, no off-and-on connection. The branch becomes a part of the living vine… Separated from the vine, the branch cannot live… As the vine branch constantly draws the sap from the living vine, so are we to cling to Jesus, and receive from Him by faith the strength and perfection of His own character.

The fruit of the Spirit is the outward evidence of the inward reality of a heart “abiding” in Christ.
