Tell the Lord Thank You Ephesians 5:15-16

So be careful how you live. Don’t live like fools, but like those who are wise. Make the most of every opportunity

Ephesians 5:15-16 See then that you walk carefully, not as fools, but as wise men,16 making the most of the time because the days are evil.

The Wisdom  of God is calling you on today.

We are reminded in scripture that Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding.

Every fork in the road and every cross roads of life requires a decision on our part.

Throughout our entire life, on a daily basis, 24/7, we are making countless choices that determines whether we live as wise or as foolish.

Wise decision is not based on self examination of anything else, other than the wisdom of God that is found in His Word. Yes, it is through the seeking of the Lord’s guidance and His wisdom that we make wise choices.

Making decisions on our own apart from God that is based on our own feeling, our own desires, our own wisdom and or other people’s advise is not wise because as humans we have limited knowledge, whereas God is all knowing.

To choose wise or foolishly started in the garden of Eden with our first parents, Adam and Eve and the choice is still alive today with every human being that now or ever existed.

Adam and Eve chose to make the decision to disobey God based on their knowledge and desires. It was not that they weren’t aware of what they needed to know to make the right decision because God told them these words in Genesis 2:15-17– The Lord took the man and put him in the garden of Eden to till it and to keep it. 16 And the Lord God commanded the man, saying, “Of every tree of the garden you may freely eat, 17 but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat from it you will surely die.”

The unwise decision by Adam and Eve did not bring a sudden physical death, but a spiritual death that caused man to be separated from God because of his willful choice to Sin against God in disobedience to what God had already commanded of Him not to do.

Whenever we’re faced with a choice, regardless of how major or minor it may be, we should always ask ourselves “what is the wisest thing to do”? The wise thing to do would be is to seek God’s wisdom through God’s Word.

In all our decision making, we live the consequences of the choices we make, be it good or bad.

Proverbs 3:7 – Do not be wise in your own eyes; Fear the LORD and turn away from evil.

1 Corinthians 3:19-21 For what this world considers to be wisdom is nonsense in God’s sight. As the scripture says, “God traps the wise in their cleverness”; 20 and another scripture says, “The Lord knows that the thoughts of the wise are worthless.” 21 No one, then, should boast about what human beings can do. Actually everything belongs to God.

To live wise and not foolish is to view life from God’s view and respond according to what He says in His word, where true wisdom is found.

Unlike man, whose knowledge is limited and ever changing, God  is Omniscience.

God knows each one of us individually. It is He who has made us. He has full understanding of all we stand in need of including wisdom to live the life He has called us to live.

Paul urges us first of all to “be carefully” regarding how we live our life.  In other words, give much thought to the choices we make before we make them. Why? Because too often we suffer painfully for choices we make that we have not taken time to ponder on before making them.

We are living in a time where evil and confusion is all around, but in the midst of it all the wisdom of God is still known and available to man through prayer, the Word of God and the leading of God’s Holy Spirit.

A spiritual, disciplined life is the wise use of our time with God in prayer and in His Word. Godliness is the result of a disciplined spiritual life.

If we are going to be like Christ in a world where man chooses to live unwise instead of wise, we must use our time in a way that is pleasing to God.

Redeem the time for the days in which we live are indeed evil.  To “redeem” means to purchase.

One of the most valuable things that we will ever purchase is “TIME” spent in the presence of God’s infinite wisdom.

To walk as wise, we must be filled with God’s  Holy Spirit. He must be living on the inside of us, otherwise in a ditch we end up and all those who are following us.

Are you walking wise in the knowledge of God’s Word in this evil world by using your time wisely in understanding the will of God for your life?

If you’re not wise in how you live your life, you are living dangerously and treading deep, drowning waters without a life raft.

Don’t waste any more time aimlessly running to and fro on self dependency.

Now is the time to seek the Lord with “URGENCY” while He may be found for the days are evil in which we now live.

The question for the entire universe on today is “where are you in your relationship with Christ on

If you have been living your life foolishly apart from God, it is still not too late for you if you are reading this blog right now. REPENT! turn to Jesus for the forgiveness of your sins!

Call on the name of the Lord with a pure heart and you shall be saved! Today is the day of Salvation!

Time! How are you spending your’s?

God bless.
