Top Ten Verses For Faith

Even when life doesn’t make sense, we can trust our good and loving heavenly Father

2 Chronicles 32:7-8

Be strong and courageous, be not afraid nor dismayed for the king of Assyria, nor for all the multitude that is with him: for there be more with us than with him:

With him is an arm of flesh; but with us is the Lord our God to help us, and to fight our battles. And the people rested themselves upon the words of Hezekiah king of Judah.

Even though many things may be fighting against us or standing in our way, God is stronger than all of them. When He fights our battles for us, instead of us trying to force the outcome, we can see true victory because God loves to provide for us.

Hebrews 11:1-2

Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

 For by it the elders obtained a good report.

Our faith shows the world what we truly believe in our hearts. God wants us to show the world His Kingdom, which at times, stands opposite to what the world values. As we align our eyes to what God values, we are able to help people see the greatness of God.

Isaiah 49:4

Then I said, I have laboured in vain, I have spent my strength for nought, and in vain: yet surely my judgment is with the Lord, and my work with my God.

Nothing you ever do for God is useless or wasted. Even when you cannot see the effect in your life, God honors your heart and action. He will reward you in His timing. When we are in heaven, God will show you how all your hard work helped those around you.

Matthew 17:20

 And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you.

When God is in control, anything can happen. He wants us to grow our faith so that He can move forward and use you to do the impossible. As we actively trust God and speak faith, we are allowing Him to do bigger and better things through our lives.

Philippians 2:16

Holding forth the word of life; that I may rejoice in the day of Christ, that I have not run in vain, neither laboured in vain.

Throughout our lives, we need to keep our faith active or we will stumble. God’s promises are stronger than the laws of the universe and He will return and be with us forever. As we face many difficulties, it is hard to continue trusting, but God will always make a way for us.

Colossians 2:8

Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.

There are thousands of different opinions in the world and many get lodged in our heads. Faith in what God says is what drives out the negative thoughts and allows us to see our situation through the possibility of God’s strength. Keep focusing on what God can do.

Psalm 44:6-8

For I will not trust in my bow, neither shall my sword save me.

But thou hast saved us from our enemies, and hast put them to shame that hated us.

 In God we boast all the day long, and praise thy name for ever. Selah.

Our own strength can only do so much. As we put our faith into action and trust what God will do, He will actually lead us farther than we could ever go by ourselves. He wants us to achieve great things but needs us to lower our pride and trust His ways.

Romans 4:20-22

He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God;

And being fully persuaded that, what he had promised, he was able also to perform.

And therefore it was imputed to him for righteousness.

Going through trials is challenging, but it allows us to be positioned for God to bring a new miracle in our lives. We reach a new level in our relationship with God and can be trusted with more responsibility for the Kingdom. God always honors our faith in the face of adversity.

Hebrews 11:6

But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

God wants our hearts more than anything else. As long as we actively follow God and trust Him, He will never leave us. This is what God wants more than ritualistic behaviors. Seek what God has for you and trust that it is good for you.

Psalm 56:10-11

In God will I praise his word: in the Lord will I praise his word.

In God have I put my trust: I will not be afraid what man can do unto me.

Despite anything that ever happens to you, God’s way is still the best way. At the end of days, we will be with God for all eternity. He sees all your struggles and witnesses when you hold onto faith in the face of adversity. Even though it may be hard today, our future eternity with God will be amazing.

17 And came and preached peace to you which were afar off, and to them that were nigh.

18 For through him we both have access by one Spirit unto the Father.

19 Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellowcitizens with the saints, and of the household of God;

20 And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone;

21 In whom all the building fitly framed together groweth unto an holy temple in the Lord:

22 In whom ye also are builded together for an habitation of God through the Spirit.
