Psalm 98:1

Psalm 98:1
Sing to the Lord a new song, for He has done marvelous things; His right hand and His holy arm have worked salvation for Him.

Isn’t it cool that God created us with a voice that not only talks, but sings! I know that some people do not sing well by this worlds standards, but none the less, every singing voice of His children is beautiful to God. When our son was a toddler I used to love to hear him sing his little songs, especially “Jesus Loves Me”, after he was done we would clap and be so proud of him.
Well, God feels that same way when we sing to Him. I am sure that He could just burst with joy at our having worshiped Him in this manner. We are told numerous times in His Word to lift our voices in praise and song to Him (Psalm 104:33, 96:1), so we know that He enjoys it, and it does our heart good to do it!

God certainly has done marvelous things, so we have much to sing about. I can look back at my life and see many marvelous things that God has done for me, with me, and through me. My only part was to follow His will for me, when I did, the result was wonderful, when I did not it was disastrous! God desires to do great things through every one of His children, but we must let Him, He doesn’t force us because He wants our hearts to be centered on Him by choice, not duty.

His right hand and holy arm have indeed worked salvation. When Christ went to that cross His death and resurrection saved any person who would place their faith in Him. When Christ comes back to this earth one day He will show His mighty power once again by ruling with His holy arm. He came the first time as a humble baby, the second time with be in power and great glory for all to see! I can hardly wait to see my Savior come to this wicked world and set all things straight that are crooked, and bring peace to this warring planet. Come Lord Jesus!!

Thank You Lord Jesus for atoning for my sins on the cross at Calvary. Thank You for loving me and for never leaving me. I will sing my praises to You this day my Redeemer, my Prince of Peace, and my King of Kings, Amen!
